Let Loose!

When beginning a memoir, many people hold back because they tend to be concerned about being fair to everyone in their lives. They worry that someone will be portrayed wrong and resent it. This is a legitimate concern, and, as a ghostwriter, I have ways of addressing these issues with sensitivity.

When I interview you for your memoir, we’ll talk about issues such as how loved ones will be portrayed and which subjects need to be handled with kid gloves. Afterward, having stated these boundaries, you can feel free to simply let loose during the interview process and describe things exactly as you saw or felt them.

I want to hear your opinion, prejudices, anger, joys, confusion, ecstatic moments, and resentments. As your ghostwriter, it is imperative for me to know what lies beneath the surface.

No matter the story, my clients are those who wish to reveal their struggles and paths to freedom through the medium of memoir. At the same time, they are also able to see the humor in their experiences. In each memoir I ghostwrite, readers find themselves able to truly understand those who have led unusual lives and made unusual choices. The subject's complex character emerges through compassionate storytelling. Each memoir tends to leave readers with a sense of wonder at how we are all alike, yet so different.

As a ghostwriter, I enjoy detailing the lives of all kinds of individuals. Being well-travelled, I am particularly adept at telling stories with a travel or multi-cultural theme. Also, sometimes clients know they have led an interesting life but aren't able to fully comprehend the meaning of their experiences. Often clients describe stories of adventure, of triumph, or of loss, but remain focussed only on the superficial aspects of the story. As a ghostwriter, it is my job to ask the right questions in order to dig deeper. I will go beyond the who, what, and where of the story to discover what it all means and how the experience changed you as a person.

Your memoir is the ultimate way to tell the world that you have emerged as a better human being, with untold strengths.

My interviewing technique has been developed specifically to assist individuals in discovering facts, emotions, and conclusions that have been hiding just under the surface and are now finally ready to emerge as part of a memoir.
